EC Data Systems, a Software as a Service (SaaS (News
- Alert)) company located in Denver, Colorado, has enhanced its product – FAXAGE – the value-leader in e-mail fax services, by implementing DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) features for all faxes that customers receive via e-mail through the FAXAGE Internet fax service.
FAXAGE offers many benefits to small and medium businesses through its fully multi-user design, competitive pricing, as well as multiple integration methods including Web site, e-mail and API. The service strives to be the recognized value leader by offering the best balance of price, quality, performance and features in its market segment.
DKIM is developed to allow a receiving e-mail server to validate very e-mail message sent, while the main advantage of DKIM is to identify spam messages by checking whether the message is originated from the sender and not from a third-party or potential spammer.
DKIM is an open standard related to cryptographic e-mail signing. It also prevents spammers from fabricating the source address of their messages.
“The upshot for our customers is that faxes are more likely to land in their e-mail inbox and not in a spam or junk folder," said in a statement Christian Watts of EC Data Systems - the parent company of the FAXAGE Internet Fax service. “This latest improvement underscores our commitment to providing customers with quality service and enhancing the capabilities of our email fax system over time.”
In other company news, TMCnet reported that FAXAGE has unveiled a new fax pricing tool that helps users find the best fax plans that fit their individual business needs.
