Recently, the company announced that its Biscom Mobile Fax app, which works with Google Android tablets and phones, Apple iPad and iPhone (News - Alert) Amazon Kindle Fire, can be now bought from the Apple, Android and Amazon marketplaces.

“Usage of mobile fax devices in enterprise settings has doubled in the past year. Enterprise users expect to use their mobile devices for most forms of communications, and it's increasingly important that fax be among those options," said Peter Davidson, president of Davidson Consulting. "Biscom's new mobile fax app is intelligently designed and meets today's business needs by giving employees the mobility and flexibility they need, and IT managers the security and control they require.”

Facilitating company users to receive, view and send faxes such as signature authorizations anytime and anywhere, Biscom Mobile Fax enhances the ability of the company’s enterprise fax solutions to mobile devices. Biscom Mobile Fax also allows the users download the app on their mobile devices. Apart from that, it can also allow enterprise IT administrators to administer access control and permissions.

Recently, the company unveiled Secure Fax, which is designed for both business and government environments that focus on privacy and confidentiality. Some of these applications consist of finance, healthcare, manufacturing, legal, and executive uses. The software has a new "fax encryption at rest" capability, which signifies that faxes stored on the server will still be safeguarded from hackers and other persons with malicious intent.
