eFax, a provider of online fax services and a brand of j2 Global, Inc., announced the availability of eFax 3.0 mobile App for iOS, which makes it easier to fax on-the-go while using iOS devices, including iPhone (News - Alert), iPad, iPad mini and iPod touch.

As a companion to the company’s eFax service, the eFax Mobile App provides users with the convenience and the facility to send and receive faxes from almost anywhere.

With the help of this mobile app, users can send faxes using a camera, e-mail attachments, or documents that are stored in the cloud. In addition, users can also view faxes received on a mobile device and even add their signature electronically to documents.

Integrated with the ability to share faxes with others via e-mail, the eFax Mobile App can also find faxes using a keyword search of fax contents or tags; print faxes easily to AirPrint-enabled printers using Wi-Fi; and more.

Apart from offering the capability to send, receive, sign, and print faxes directly from an iOS device, the new eFax 3.0 Mobile App for iOS can manage eFax contacts directly from the home-screen.

Additionally, the updated eFax app takes advantage of the enhanced screen size for the larger iPhone 5 display and the new iPad mini. ?

With eFax Mobile app, users can: save money by eliminating fax machines, paper, toner and maintenance costs; gain more mobility by sending and receive faxes by e-mail anywhere; and choose own local, toll-free, or international fax numbers.

Kyle Flowers, marketing director at j2 Global (News - Alert), said in a statement, "Enhancements to the eFax iOS app ensure that users can send and receive important faxes whenever and wherever duty calls, such as signing a contract from a cab, sending an invoice from a hotel room, or approving an expense report from the couch."

Currently, eFax is offering free 30-day trial for interested users. After 30 days, users can continue using the service with monthly subscription fee of $16.95 USD and get 150 incoming fax pages and 150 outbound fax pages.
