Grudi Associates is all set to say a heartfelt farewell to its traditional fax machine, as the company is ready to adopt new, environmentally friendly efax technology to help businesses send and receive fax messages with greater economy, efficiency, reliability and security.
Efax, a cloud-based service enables users to send or receive faxes using a computer economically. You need to set up an account with an efax service provider, which routes documents from a computer to a fax machine and vice versa.
We’ve been covering this topic heavily as of late here at TMC (News - Alert), where earlier this month we presented ways that fax VoIP is both environmentally friendly as well as cost-efficient.
Sending faxes is very easy with Efax. The sender starts by scanning or creating a document in a common format, such as PDF, TIFF, TXT, MS Word or MS Excel. After that, you may attach the file with an ordinary e-mail with a special e-mail address containing the recipient’s fax phone number entered into the “send to” address. The text in e-mail message area will then be received as the cover page. "Efax service offers an array of benefits that are changing the way businesses use faxes," explained in a statement Walt Grudi, president of Grudi Associates, a provider of telecom and IT services in Central PA and beyond. "It’s the next generation of facsimile communications.”
The efax service provider will send the recipient’s fax phone number to its cloud-based server, which will change the incoming fax into a PDF or other format that can be read on a computer.
"Efax is more economical, efficient, reliable, secure and environmentally friendly,” adds Grudi. “Businesses should give it serious consideration.”
Efax saves significant costs, as there is no need to install fax phone lines, fax machines. There are also online portals to check statuses, receive time-stamped confirmations and review history anytime, anywhere. Businesses can select the right efax provider and services for their specific needs.
